The 2019 CAE Conference

The 2019 CAE Conference will illustrate how and where engineering simulation, already pervasive in design and production processes and in the use of products themselves, is inextricably linked to the other Industry 4.0 technologies. One could even say that Engineering Simulation’s role is central to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. This year’s CAE Conference will illustrate how engineering simulation can be used in different productive contexts to orchestrate a successful and considered path towards effective digital transformation.

The “Industrial Design & CAE” Rina‘s team, as well as RBF Morph, will be presenting two works at the upcoming International CAE Conference that will be held in Vicenza on 28th and 29th October.  

The first work, entitled “CAE Up: digital twins at the service of manufacturing processes” and dealing with the Experiment 12 of Cloudifacturing project, will be presented in the Manufacturing Session at 11.40. The second work entitled “Use of Micro Structures to Increase Turbomachine Performance” and concerning a numerical procedure developed in the Resistant project in view of increasing an industrial compressor efficiency through the use of riblets, will be presented in the Energy, Oil & Gas Session at 14.00.
